Operator and service

VideoOutline is provided by HK CompassIO Technology Ltd. Please read these terms and our privacy policy when using the website or extension. Stop using the service if you do not accept them.

VideoOutline provides summaries, key takeaways and timestamps. It is not an official YouTube or Google product and does not represent video creators. The current service is an administrator-only preview; registration does not automatically grant summary access. Some videos cannot be processed, and the service may be maintained, changed or discontinued.

Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account information and protect passwords and application keys. Do not share credentials, impersonate others, bypass access restrictions, abuse APIs at scale or disrupt the service. Revoke keys and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend access for abuse or security risks and explain the reason where practicable.

Content and generated results

Submit only content you are authorized to access and process. Do not bypass paywalls, login requirements or other access restrictions. Video and third-party content rights remain with their owners; using VideoOutline does not grant rights to republish protected material.

AI summaries and timestamps can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of context. They do not replace the source video or professional advice. Independently verify important financial, health and other decisions. Speakers' opinions are not endorsed by VideoOutline. We do not guarantee a fixed processing time, universal video compatibility or fully accurate output.

Fees, trials and termination

The preview is free. No paid trial or automatic renewal is active. Installing the extension or registering does not initiate a charge. Demonstration plans and simulated orders are not real transactions.

Any future checkout must clearly disclose price, billing period, trial end date, automatic renewal, usage allowance and cancellation before confirmation. Current descriptions do not promise future unlimited use or a fixed price. See our refund and cancellation policy.

You may stop using the service, disable or uninstall the extension or request account deletion. Uninstalling is not cancellation of any future subscription; use the subscription management process provided at that time.

Responsibility and changes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee against losses caused by reliance on unverified AI output. These terms do not exclude consumer rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited. Material service and policy changes will be communicated on the website or through appropriate channels.
